We're rolling out the red carpet for exciting developments in the Minecraft Earth closed beta! First, a big earthy greeting to our Android players who can take part in the excitement as we launch this next phase of the closed beta. This rollout will be occurring throughout the week - so keep checking back to see whether Minecraft Earth has reached your city, village or cave!
We're adding a brand new feature too which is called rubies. Rubies are a game-specific currency that can be earned by everyone playing the game. They let you purchase buildplates during the closed beta. Android players will soon be able purchase rubies in the closed beta. However, iOS users don't have to fret - we're working on this feature! Rubies, whether you buy or earn them, are linked to your Xbox Live account and will remain with you throughout Early Access and beyond!
The majority of the rules from our previous article on the iOS closed beta are still in effect. You'll need to log in each day to keep your account active and you will need to sign to receive an invitation. If you still find yourself with unanswered questions look up the Minecraft Earth FAQ.
